Support and troubleshooting

Get started with Proxia or contact ANANKELIS SAS for help. Follow the steps for the app or extension you installed; available features vary by platform and edition.

1. Install and enable Proxia

Chrome and Firefox: use the official store links on the Installation page. Open the Proxia extension popup, check that protection is enabled for the supported website, then reload that website after installation or a permission change.

Safari on iPhone or iPad: open the installed Proxia Safari app and follow its activation guidance. In the device’s Settings, find Safari, open Extensions and enable Proxia. Allow access only to the websites you want to protect. The path to Safari settings varies by OS version.

Safari on Mac: open the Proxia Safari app and use its button to open Safari’s extension settings. Enable Proxia and review website access permissions. Installing the app alone does not enable the Safari extension.

For Office add-ins and managed installations, follow the guide supplied with your package or contact your administrator. Do not disable organizational controls to install or troubleshoot Proxia.

2. Check protection safely

Use a made-up example in a supported input field. Check whether Proxia reports it before sending anything. Do not test with a real password, API key, customer record or confidential document. Review any proposed protected text before using it.

3. No alert or unexpected behavior?

Check the installed version, whether the extension is enabled, site permissions and the selected protection settings. Confirm that the website and interaction are supported. Reload the page after changing settings. A lack of alerts is not proof that content is safe.

For a false positive, reproduce with fictional text and note the warning category. Avoid broadly disabling protection. If you cannot verify the protection of sensitive content, pause sharing and use your organization’s approved process.

The optional local ML detector is an advanced feature and is disabled by default. Consult the Privacy Policy before enabling it. Do not enable it in the current Safari prototype; the Privacy Policy describes a redirect limitation there.

4. Contact ANANKELIS SAS

Use the contact link below for installation, licensing, accessibility or product questions. Enterprise users should first use their private onboarding channel or contact their administrator. No response-time guarantee is offered here; a separate support agreement may specify one.

Include the Proxia version, operating system and browser versions, affected component, warning category or error code, expected result and steps to reproduce with fictional data. If relevant, include the ruleset version shown by your installation.

Do not send prompts, messages, attachments, passwords, API keys, license tokens, vault files, full logs or screenshots containing personal or confidential information. Use synthetic examples and technical metadata only. Support does not require remote access to your inspected content.

5. Report a security concern

Contact ANANKELIS SAS privately through the same support channel and identify the report as a security concern. Describe the affected version and a synthetic reproduction. If real credentials were exposed, revoke or rotate them through the relevant provider and notify your administrator; masking cannot undo an earlier disclosure.

6. Disable or uninstall

Use your browser’s extension manager to disable or remove the extension. On Apple devices, disable the Safari extension in Safari settings and remove the app using the operating system’s normal uninstall process. Consult your administrator for managed devices. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel a separate purchase or subscription.
